ANC Forestry Group Pty Ltd was formed in late 2006 when two Canadians and the Sargison family from NZ purchased two cable logging operations and four trucks from Cable Logging Ltd in Morwell Victoria to work for HVP Plantations. The name ANC stands for Australia, New Zealand, Canada.
The departure of Alex and Wayne (Canadian Partners) after 18 months saw the arrival of Daryl Hutton (another Kiwi). Daryl brought a third cable yarder plus four other pieces of forestry equipment with him from NZ, to now make the company evenly shared between the Sargison Family and himself.
Daryl came to us from New Zealand with over 15 years logging experience, specialising in cable logging in steep terrain, ground based harvesting and log haulage.
ANC is dedicated to the Gippsland region; providing long term employment for many workers from truck drivers and machine operators to mechanics, boilermakers and administration staff
OUR SERVICES
HAULAGE
Here at ANC Forestry we have a fleet of 36 trucks consisting of; 14 b-doubles, 8 twin steers and 14 singles.
Our trucks cart plantation and native timber logs throughout Victoria and supply local mills and export markets.
HARVESTING
ANC have harvest crews working in locations across Latrobe Valley and East Gippsland. We specialise in the mechanical harvesting and processing of plantation and native timbers using modern machinery. All operators are industry trained and accredited.
WORKSHOP
We have an extensive workshop that services and repairs both our heavy machinery and trucking fleet on a rotating roster of day and afternoon shift. We also fabricate trailers, bolsters etc.
